World Cup skaters talk about the Marchese Record (video)

"Some of them are definately skating better on them", says Bart Schouten, head coach of the German national long track team.

CadoMotus and the German long track team have worked together over the past few months as part of the Marchese Record blade development program. Now, Bob de Jong, Bart Schouten (head coach) and German national team members Robert Lehmann and Jörg Hugo Dallmann talk about their experiences and feeling on the blade:

"The Marchese Record gives a really good glide on the straightaway, and it looks like they're gliding a little longer or faster," says Schouten of the athletes using the Record blades. "It also indicates that it is easier to cross over, and that it costs (the athlete) less, but the speed is the same."

Bob de Jong (defending Olympic Champion in the 10km) has been on the Marchese Record blades more than a month already: "The difference between my old blades and the Marchese Record is that I'm going further on the straights and keeping more speed out of the corners."

Jörg Dallmann, from the German national team, has been part of the Record development program: "With the Record blades I have more feel for the ice, and I have more control to play with the pressure."
